Eve Arnold

Today's Guardian newspaper highlights a retrospective exhibition of Eve Arnold's work at Camera Torino, in Turin, Italy.

I was fortunate enough to have worked with Eve in the mid-1990s, printing 3 sets of prints for two concurrent exhibitions and an archive. She was one of the most gracious clients I've worked with, and every visit to her flat in London was enjoyable, and always involved cake. She kindly signed a 16x20" print of her famous Marilyn Monroe image for me.
