Photography
Most of my work is still shot on film, although I do sometimes work digitally using a Canon EOS 350D 8MB camera. This gives me enough resolution for making the digital internegatives I need for platinum prints.
For film, I use Ilford Delta 400 and either a Mamiya 6 or Rolleiflex 2.8 Planar - more for the square format and ease of use rather than any optical criteria. Tonality is more important to me, especially in the shadows, than getting everything pin-sharp from front to back and so because of that...
I process my film in Pyro and have done for about twenty years. Initially using a version of the three-part ABC formula, but then changing over to PMK for the last 14 years or so.
Finally, as nearly all my work is now printed in either platinum or photogravure, the film is scanned and edited in Photoshop, and then output to film for the internegatives/positives.

I built and maintain the site using Apple computers and software that includes Dreamweaver, Style Master, CSSEdit, Wordpress, Text Wrangler and Transmit. The site design is based on the Wordpress theme Hemingway Reloaded.
It's designed to look best in Safari. All others, you're on your own. The whole site is very happily hosted by MacHighway.
